Flooding could be a problem around the county as a flood watch will be in effect from 1 p.m. this afternoon through Tuesday morning.

A warmfront lifting across the region will produce a round of showers, according to the National Wather Service, and that should bring the possibility of heavy run and thunderstorms.

The watch is in effect for Niagara County as well as Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Northern Erie, Ontario, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
