The town of Lockport was one of the big gainers in the recent census release and it looks like more growth is on the way.
A pair of area homebuilders are looking to expand subdivisions in the Lockport area, the Town board heard during a meeting on Monday night.
Ryan Homes and Cimato Construction are both planning on creating more homes, while David Homes will also add a number of houses in the Collins Subdivision.
Also at the Town Board worksession, the group discussed the purchase of the vacant Carpenters Hall on Dysinger Road. That property will cost the town $250,000.
