NT teachers second highest-paid in WNY

North Tonawanda teachers rank second in Western New York in terms of pay, according to a study released by Buffalo's Business First on Monday.

The median pay for teachers in that district is more than $67,000, trailing just the Williamsville district.

Other local districts that placed high included Niagara Falls, which was fifth, and Lockport, which placed 15th out of Western New York's 98 school districts.

Also, Barker placed 23rd place, while Starpoint was 24th. Wilson was 26th, followed by Royalton-Hartland and Newfane in 32nd and 33rd places, respectively.
