It looks like Town Justice Leonard Tilney will handle the case of the Lockport Town Attorney Daniel Seaman, who was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated last week.
Seaman refused to submit to chemical tests after his pickup was spotted in the mud on Crosby Road. According to a report, Town Supervisor Marc Smith said Seaman will not lose his job due to the incident.
The county's district attorney's office is expected to withdraw from the case as Seaman's son Brian is an assistant DA.
Seaman is paid $109,500 from the town for his services.
