A special prosecutor will be used in the DWI case of Lockport Town Attorney Daniel Seaman.

Both Seaman and his attorney were absent from Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday, and judge Leonard Tilney allowed for an adjournment in the proceedings.

Reports today say that a court clerk noted the court is waiting for the district attorney to advise officials of how to proceed with a special prosecutor. Seaman's son, Brian, works as an assistant district attorney.
