NT man leads county police on naked chase

A North Tonawanda man who admitted he was high on drugs was arrested after he ran away from an accident scene naked was captured after a struggle with Niagara County Sheriff's deputies.

23-year-old Derek Huttenmaier of Zimmerman Street was arrested on seven counts, including driving while his ability was impaired by drugs after he allegedly threw a brick through a window of a Beebe Road home.

According to the report, Huttenmaier had taken three tabs of acid, and he fought with police on the scene, and banged his head against the inside of the patrol car on the way to the hospital.

He was to the Niagara County Jail and will appear in Town of Cambria Court on May 18.
