A report recently surfaced that former Niagara County Legislature chairman and current North Tonawanda school administrator John Tylec was arrested for driving while intoxicated earlier this year.

The Buffalo News is reporting that Tylec pleaded to a charge of DWAI and got a six-month conditional discharge after the incident, which took place back in February on Campbell Boulveard.

Tylec was originally pulled over for doing 59 miles an hour in a 45 mile-an-hour zone.

He left the legislature in 2001 and is the NT school district clerk.
