Details are trickling in about the riot that took place on Main Street in the Falls over the weekend.
Management from the Rapids Theatre insists it shut down the party after a bartender was punched in the face.
It was originally reported that the party was held by Rob Gilz Promotions and RAW Entertainment, but those groups have said they were just in charge of advertising and that the party was hosted by Charles Walker III, the son of Niagara Falls Councilman Charles Walker.
During the incident, one man was shot, others were stabbed and more than a thousand people spilled into the street.
This comes just a few weeks after a party at the Rapids for former Niagara Falls basketball star Paul Harris was cancelled. At the time, Harris said the theater's ownership told him it was because police were worried he had ties to gang members in the Falls.
