A report today claims a new superintendent will be named for the Lockport City Schools District this week. The Buffalo News is reporting that Michelle Bradley will be appointed to the position this week.
Bradley would replace outgoing boss Terry Carbone, who is leaving the district after 25 years of service, including the last five as the superintendent.
Bradley has been with the Lockport district for a decade, starting in the role of principal at Charles Upson Elementary School before moving to the post of assistant superintendent in 2006.
According to the report, board members are hoping to negotiate a deal with Bradley in time for approval at Wednesday's meeting.
