A pair of used car managers in Lockport are being charged with selling extended warranties to customers, but never purchasing them from a warranty company.

Police have charged 39-year-old Jason Armstrong of Pendleton and 59-year-old Gary Custo of the Falls with numerous counts of larceny, falsifying business records and scheming to defraud.

Armstrong is the general manager at Lifetime Auto Sales on South Transit while Custo is the sales manager.

The pair are scheduled to appear in Pendleton Town Court on Aug. 10.
