A former state corrections officer is headed to prison for raping a woman at knifepoint in North Tonawanda.

28-year-old Christian Ott was sentenced to 20 years behind bars yesterday for the December 9th, 2010 assault.

Prosecutors said Ott had driven four hours from Greene Correctional Facility where he worked at the time to North Tonawanda, stopped at his home to pick up a bandana, knife and latex gloves.

Then, he broke into the victim's home and raped and tortured her at knifepoint.

Assistant D.A. Elizabeth Donatello called Ott a "cold-blooded, diabolical criminal."

Ott also received 20 years of post-release supervision.
