The plans of a Tacoma, Wash., doctor who said earlier this year he intended to develop the county's Davison Road complex into condos for seniors are apparently dead.
Originally, Douglas MacLeod agreed to purchase the plot for $160,000 and intended to put condos and a medical office development in. That didn't comply with Town of Lockport zoning rules, however, and MacLeod's brother asked for more time to develop plans.
County Manager Jeffrey Glatz said Tuesday that MacLeod has been allowed to back out of his bid. No word yet on the next step for that property.
