The Niagara Falls physician known on the streets as "Dr. Feel Good" was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on 28 counts after prosecutors say he illegally distributed oxycotin and other pain medication.

73-year-old Pravin Mehta, faces up to 20 years in jail bars on charges he prescribed controlled medications to patients without giving them an exam.

The charges also indicate that Mehta signed blank prescription forms before he'd leave town and would instruct his staff to fill in the blanks.

He has lost his license to practice medicine.
