A Niagara Falls Police lieutenant who has been on the force for 16 years was arraigned on domestic violence-related charges this week.
Dave Kinney pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal trespassing and menacing.
The charges are all misdemeanors and Kinney was arraigned in State Supreme Court on Wednesday. The investigation was handled by the Niagara County District Attorney's Office and Kinney has been placed on paid administrative leave back on Aug. 10. He's expected to return to court next week.
This marks the third time in less than a year that a Falls police officer has been charged in a domestic violence-related incident.
Another of those officers, Mark Feldhousen, was also arrested this week.
Feldhousen was charged with violating his probation for a May conviction. He's charged with having alcohol and ammunition in his home.
