In Niagara Falls, the SPCA of Niagara are seeking the owner of a Greant Dane puppy that was found abandoned and suffering from one of the worst cases of animal starvation they've seen. The puppy was found last Saturday at 17th Street and Willow Avenue and stands a only 50/50 chance of survivial as of today. The puppy is estimated to be about six months old and is so weak from malnutrition that the hamstrings on its back legs locked up and it cannot stand. The SPCA would like to level charges against whoever abandoned the pup, and asks anyone with information to visit the agency's website at www.niagaraspca.org or call 731-4368.
