Two men arrested with 'mobile meth lab'

Two men are being held in the Niagara County Jail on bail after being caught over the weekend with what police are calling a mobile meth lab. State Police in Lockport had pulled over a car Sunday night on Fairview Drive and saw one of the men inside drop a plastic bottle outside the car. The bottle reportedly contained methamphetamine components.

A further search of the car revealed a bag containing a plastic bottle and tubing. 28-year-old Joshua Hoefer of Burt and 24-year-old Raymond Burley of the state of Tennessee were arrested for criminal possession of meth and a controlled substance. Burley's bail has been set at $50,000 and Hoefer's at $10,000. After a check, Burley was also wanted in Tennessee on an escape charge and he'll be extradited ...
