Countywide sting nets three arrests

County Sheriff's joined with state police, and the State Liquor Authority for a joint underage alcohol sting last night.

During this detail, 16 convenience stores were checked utilizing underage operatives. Thirteen stores successfully denied the underage operatives alcohol and three allowed the operatives to purchase alcohol. Arrested during this detail were 17-year-old Tracey Lewis of Lockport, an employee of Kenyon's on Campbell Boulevard in Pendleton; 19-year-old Victoria Miller of East Amherst, an employee of Olear's on Chestnut Ridge Road in Royalton, and 22-year-old Matthew Ward of Wilson, who works at Mrs. Thank You in the Town of Lewiston.
