North Tonawanda Teenager on Probation

North Tonawanda teenager, Jordan Sowersby, pleaded guilty to downloading child pornography onto his computer will have four months to convince Niagara County Judge Matthew Murphy III that he can obey probation rules. Sowersby pleaded guilty in September to a felony charge of possessing a sexual performance by a child for downloading child pornography between August 1 and 3, 2010. Judge Murphy has warned Sowersby that he could go to state prison for as long as four years. As part of Sowersby probation, he must avoid pornography, move back home with his parents, obey an 11 p.m. curfew, get a job and obtain a mental health evaluation from a doctor who counsels sex offenders.
