Here's a new sign that the holidays are on their way, the new holiday market on Old Falls Street in downtown Niagara Falls is starting to show signs of life.
According to officials for the project, an outdoor ice rink for the event is set to see construction this weekend. Also, some of the vendors will start to see construction of their booths. The market will last 37 days, starting with an official kickoff the day after Thanksgiving.
Also, a Holiday Concert Series will be held at the Conference Center Niagara Falls, with performances from the Canadian Tenors, Aaron Neville, Elisabeth Von Trapp and the Buffalo Philharmonic.
