The county's board of elections has officially declared winners in a pair of tight election night races.

In Niagara Falls, Glenn Choolokian held off newcomer Alicia Liable for one of the two city council spots. Choolokian got more than half of the close to 400 absentee votes, giving him a victory of about 340 over Liable.

Meanwhile, in North Tonawanda's first ward, longtime politician Russ Rizzo and Louis Sprenger Jr. were tied on election night, but Rizzo has since been declared the winner by just 29 votes.
