Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy visited the new Holiday Market in Niagara Falls on Monday and gave the market a rousing review. Duffy made a purchase while walking along Old Falls Street with mayor Paul Dyster on a tour of the outdoor market. He said despite some outcry that officials have invested too much into the 36-day market, the move was a smart one.
Some have criticized the developer who conceived the market for getting nearly a half-million in public funding. That market runs through New Year's Day.
