One of Niagara Falls' most recognizable buildings is again at the center of controversy.
FBI agents descended on city hall in the Falls on Wednesday to dig into the tax records of the One Niagara building. Former owner Frank Parlato has been fueding with current owner Paul Grenga and the city.
Grenga's group has insisted that the former Occidental building was unfairly assessed by the city and the current bill of $1.7 million is too high. That new ownership group has applied for IDA funding for an expansion, but city officials say they won't allow that until back tax bills have been paid.
