A new memorial in Clarence Center is providing a focus for grief three years after a commuter flight crashed into a home there.
Several hundred people gathered last night to remember the 50 victims of the Continental Connections Flight 3407 crash with a candlelight vigil. The name of each victim was read, and a moment of silence was observed at the time the crash occurred three years ago.
An official dedication of the memorial site is planned for this June.
