A Middleport man was charged with auto-stripping and petit larceny after tape showed he pulled four car batteries out of vehicles on that lot at Ridge Road Repair 

22-year-old Thomas Sullivan was charged after security tape showed a man police believe was him pulling into the lot in Pontiac Grand Prix GT, then trying to take a battery out of a car.

He came back a little later with tools and took out that one and three others. He was arrested soon after.
