A Lockport man who had been entertaining some potential buyers in his garage to look at his motorcycle found more than $25,000 in tools, chrome rims and auto scanners stolen from that garage on Thursday.
A Strauss Road man called county sheriff's deputies after he noticed the door of the garage had been forced open and four 26-inch chrome rims worth more than $4,000 were gone.
Also, a Launch auto scanner and a Solus auto scanner were gone, along with a number of tools that were taken from mechanic tool boxes.
Police are investigating the theft.
