Women going through menopause may be able to relieve their hot flashes through therapy.

A new study shows more than two-thirds of menopausal women reported significant drops in the severity of their hot flashes after six weeks of cognitive behavioral therapy.

The study found self-help therapy worked just as well as group therapy sessions in helping to relieve hot flash symptoms.
