A 71-year-old woman was hit by a car in the Falls early Sunday morning by another woman who police say was talking on her phone will backing up.

Christine Gallo was hit on Buffalo Avenue by 40-year-old Lori Prevette, when the latter backed up her pickup truck.

Prevette then drove over the woman with her truck, according to police.

Gallo was taken to ECMC, where she was listed in critical condition.
