Woman drives from Niagara Hotel to police station, gets DWI

A Lockport woman was arrested for drunk driving earlier this week after she drove her car a few hundred yards. 41-year-old Maureen Reed was involved in an altercation at the Niagara Hotel on Transit Street.

She was angry because she said 26-year-old Amy Compeau smashed her cell phone. Compeau was arrested for mischief and harassment and another man, 48-year-old Graham Silversmith of Gasport, was also arrested.

But Reed then made the one block drive to the police station to follow up ... That's when she was arrested for DWI ...
