The Pfeiffer Foods plant in Wilson has a new owner, but village officials aren't sure what that means for the shuttered facility. 

Lawta Properties has purchased the Lake Street plant, which was the village's largest employer when it shut down three years ago.

The plant cost a little more than $400,000, but officials say the group that purchased it has not yet applied for any building permits.
