A Lockport native was stabbed to death by a fellow marine on Saturday morning ...

It happened near the Marine Barracks in Washington D.C after a fight that began when the suspect used an anti-gay slur to refer to the victim. 

23-year-old Philip Bushong was killed.  He was based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  

Bushong was found with stab wounds early Saturday morning and died at the hospital. Police took a fellow Marine into custody.  

Twenty-year-old Michael Poth has been charged with second-degree murder.
