Bills still looking for new lease

It doesn't appear that the Buffalo Bills and Erie County will reach an agreement on a new lease before the beginning of training camp.

That was the goal of the team and County Executive Mark Poloncarz when talks started in April.  Poloncarz says they have made progress, and expects that the deal will be finalized by the end of the year.

The team apparently is seeking at least 200-million dollars in renovations to the stadium as part of any new agreement.  The current lease runs through July of next year.

By the way, Forbes Magazine says the Bills are the 42nd most valuable sports franchise on the planet ...

The team's value is estimated to be $792 million, same as the year before.
