A group that says the new mission for the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station will have the 107th Airlift Wing flying unmanned droned was out on Mother's Day, protesting the possibility.

Members of No Drones Niagara say the site should be turned into a solar powerhouse.

Protestors say that measure would save the base's job, and will cost roughly around 180 million dollars.

The possibility of bringing drones to Niagara Falls surfaced last year, when military officials said that bringing the Remote Split Operations Squadron to the base could move 500 jobs there.
