Lockport's Williams pleads guilty on bank robbery charge

The man police said was the getaway driver for a recent bank holdup in Lockport pleaded guilty on Tuesday in county court.

31-year-old James Williams of Lockport pleaded guilty to third-degree robbery for his part in the theft of the M&T on Walnut Street back in early March.

Williams will be sentenced on Aug. 27.

Previously, 24-year-old Joseph Trusello of the Falls pleaded not guilty. 

None of the money from the holdup was ever recovered ...
