One N-W student dies in crash; two others injured

A horrific crash has left one Niagara-Wheatfield is dead and two others are injured after a car slammed into a utility pole in Lewiston.  

The crash took place early yesterday morning on Walmore Road in Lewiston, where three women were ejected from the car when it slammed into the pole and flipped over several times.  

State Police say 19-year-old Jasmin Dubuc of Niagara Falls died at the scene, while 18-year-old vehicle driver Taylor Clause of Lewiston is hospitalized in critical condition.  Eighteen-year-old Jasmine Rickard has been treated and released from the hospital. 

Investigators say that alcohol and marijuana was found at the scene and all three were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. 

Dubuc had recently given birth to a baby boy.
