We might have jumped too soon on the demolition of the downtown Lockport parking ramp, which will now be held up by a second lawsuit.
Contractor Scott Lawn Yard of Sanborn originally submitted a bid that was 190-thousand-dollars less than the eventual winner, but it was thrown out because it was delivered after the deadline.
Scott Lawn obtained a temporary restraining order after losing the bid, but didn't name the current bid winner in the suit so it was thrown out.

Lou Kane said the project just never fulfilled its purpose and has become something of a hazard.
