If the sunshine and 90 degree temperatures aren't hint enough that summer is upon us, this weekend's Annual American Craftsmen Show out at the Kenan Center in Lockport should do the trick.
The event is celebrating its 43rd year with more than 100 artists displaying their original and contemporary wares.
Elaine Harrigan is the marketing director at the Kenan Center and she said this truly does mark the beginning of everyone's favorite season, and said with 15 new exhibitors this year, even the staff on hand is excited to see the show.
The event starts tonight at 6 p.m. and runs through Sunday evening. Tickets are eight bucks at the door and there will be live music, an herbal plant sale and artisans coming from as far as Texas.
