The Seneca Nation and the Cuomo administration are reportedly close to a deal that would end the long dispute over casino revenues.

The tribe claims the state violated their Western New York exclusivity by allowing slot machines at area racetracks.  The Senecas have withheld 600-million-dollars from the state and their host towns over the dispute, which has Cuomo threatening to bring in competing non Indian casinos to the region.

The sides met into the evening yesterday in Albany in hopes of reaching a deal.
