The track at Emmet Belknap School will be busy most of the weekend as the Lockport Relay for Life winds through Saturday night and into the wee hours of Sunday.
Festivities begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 67 teams and 640 participants have already raised about $80,000 for the American Cancer Society. Event co-chair Jennifer Markee said the event brings members of the entire community together.
This year's theme is Tune Out Cancer and among the activities scheduled are Kan-Jam, plenty for the kids to do and a bounce house. You can hear some of the fun right here as WLVL's Norm Palmer will be on hand, broadcasting from 4 to 7 p.m.
