A man convicted of killing his live in girlfriend in North Tonawanda last year is facing the possibility of life behind bars.

Brian Lowry pleaded guilty in April to second degree murder for the killing of Heather Rylowicz last fall, and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

Her body was found in her home last November 21st but she was last seen on November second.

As part of his plea agreement, Lowry admits that he cut the 34-year-old woman's throat and struck her in the head with a sledgehammer.
