A year after he crossed Niagara Falls, Nik Wallenda walked across the Colorado River Gorge in Northern Arizona Sunday night.
He did so on a tightrope suspended 15 hundred feet above the gorge. The only thing that separated him from a fatal fall was a two inch thick cable.
The 34-year old member of the renowned "Flying Wallendas" family walked 14-hundred feet across the gorge which is near the Grand Canyon.
In Sunday's walk, he did away with his safety harness.
Wallenda is already planning his next stunt after making a high-wire walk across the Colorado River Gorge in Northern Arizona. He tells NBC's "Today" show he'd like to navigate the New York City skyline.
