The county is hoping to unload the Mount View Health Facility at its next meeting, although the price won't be as high as previously expected.
The sale of the county's former nursing home could be ready to go in front of the legislature at its next meeting, according to reports.
That campus was slated for sale to a Lewiston man, but the county is expected to shave a considerable amount off the previous asking price of just over a half-million dollars since a major asbestos removal needs to take place first.
The new owner will absorb the cost of that removal, which is currently slated to cost about $600,000.
The next meeting of the legislature is August 6th.
