A 20-year-old Lockport woman was arrested this morning for driving under the influence of drugs after she'd pulled so another female passenger could vomit.
County Sheriff's deputies saw a car parked on Cold Springs Road. They smelled marijuana then found that driver Hannah Crawford of Hawley Street was unsteady on her feet when they asked her to step out of the vehicle.
Deputies also found that Crawford had a white powder on her nostrils, which she originally said was dry skin, then later admitted to being hydrocodone, which she insisted she had a prescription for.
She was placed under arrest. Another passenger, Benjamin Rupert of Royal Parkway North, was given an appearance ticket for possession of marijuana.
