A Lockport club that specializes in helping underprivileged youths in the area is picking up the pieces after what appears to be an arson of their property.
The trailer owned and operated by the Sunrise Optimist Club of Lockport was burned beyond repair last night, according to Lockport police.
Club members sell hot dogs and pop out of that trailer at the car cruises and other events, then contribute that money to a number of youth-related organizations like AN-JO Baseball as well as Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
The trailer was in the Goodyear parking lot on Park Avenue and even the goods inside the trailer appear to be a loss.
Police do have some suspects they're hoping to question soon.
