Mongielo fires back with $575,000 police brutality suit

Dave Mongielo has fired back in his ongoing saga with the the Town of Lockport, filing a lawsuit for police brutality.

This in regard to a seat belt stop back in June in which he was arrested on six charges .

During his arrest on June 27th, officer William Jones was injured, but Mongielo said he too suffered in the process. According to his suit, Mongielo said that Jones used, "brutal force to inflict harm." 

Mongielo is seeking damages of $50,000 for a false arrest, $25,000 for violation of due process and $500,000 for physical and psychological damages, as well as medical costs.

Mongielo's other trial, the one for his changing sign, is in October
