Domestic leads to jail time for Bishop brothers in Lockport

A domestic incident in Lockport led to a pair of brothers spending time in the county jail. Police responded for what they heard was a domestic on Dysinger Road near Raymond.

They found 24-year-old Richerd Bishop and his brother 27-year-old Patrick Bishop and a female inside. Officers that responded asked Patrick to sit on the couch and he refused, then stepped toward a county sheriff's deputy with a lit cigarette.

He struggled with the officer, then was struck with a baton.

At that point, Richerd charged toward the officers. He was subdued but later kicked a pair of deputies during the struggle.

Police said they could smell alcohol on the breath of both brothers. Richerd faces charges of menacing, disorderly conduct and attempted assault, although before going to the county jail, he told police he wanted medical attention on his testicles, which had recently had surgery on.

Patrick was also charged with obstructing governmental administration ...
