
News Director Tim Schmitt has more than 23 years of journalism under his belt. Not to mention plenty of bacon.
Tim previously worked as a freelance/staff writer for the Mesa Tribune, the Arizona Daily Sun in Flagstaff and the Arizona Republic in Phoenix.
After returning home, he became the managing editor for the award-winning Tonawanda News, worked as editor-in-chief of the Buffalo Current, and was the sports editor of the Niagara Gazette for the last six years.
While working at the Niagara Gazette, Tim was honored with statewide awards for both his writing and the sports section.
Tim has also appeared on the ABC affiliate WKBW in Buffalo as a sports reporter/weekend anchor. He currently lives among the glitz and glamour of Lewiston with his wife, Dawn.
